Original roof: The gravel-built up assembly was failing in numerous areas as evidenced by field blisters and failing base flashings along the service units and the perimeter edge. The space was vacant for a long time and there were several areas where the insulation and steel decking were damaged because of continuous leaks.

New roof: Prior to installing the new roof, Northcross removed the gravel and replaced all damaged deck and insulation. New insulation and re-covery board were mechanically attached as a separator layer and then a 60-mil reinforced TPO assembly from Firestone was installed.  New walkway pads were installed around all of the service units to protect the membrane.
