Original roof: The ballasted EPDM assembly was failing in numerous areas. The perimeter wall flashings were badly “tented” because the rubber sheet had aged and there were numerous leaks at the HVAC units, pitch pans and front mansard wall.

Project highlights: All of the ballast and EPDM were removed by Northcross with its own gravel vacuum and dump trucks; the stone was recycled for a local road project. A new 60-mil TPO membrane system from Firestone was installed. The system is backed by a 15-year labor and material warranty. Moving forward, the roof seams and flashings are “in the open” and no longer concealed by heavy, dusty river rock.
